CWA/PIW BARGAINING REPORT #22:
Hello Brothers and Sisters of PIW - Today (Tuesday, November 27, 2018) we met with PIW and continued working on remaining contract language proposals so we can move the topic of negotiations from contract language to economic proposals.
The Membership Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 6:30 pm was postponed. The meeting will be rescheduled; additional information is forthcoming. These meetings are a great opportunity for you to meet your officers, gain understanding of your rights, stay abreast of what's happening and to ask questions.
CWA members overwhelmingly voted to ratify the tentative agreement covering 21,000 AT&T Mobility workers under the Orange Contract. The new contract offers more pay, more job security, and more work for CWA members. Congratulations on a hard-fought contract!
CWA/UPO BARGAINING REPORT #1: Hello Brothers and Sisters of UPO, on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, CWA and UPO met to begin the bargaining for a good contract. Bargaining will continue until we have a fair contract.
The main objective of Job Security for every member in the bargaining unit has been achieved! Frontier has a fair contract for everyone. This victory is a result of the solidarity and commitment each and every member showed during the strike. Congratulations CWA and Frontier members!
The agreement to extend the contracts between CWA and Verizon has been ratified by the combined results of the voting in the Mid-Atlantic bargaining unit. Also ratified, is the extension at Verizon Connected Solutions and the first contract at Verizon Wireless in Hazleton, PA. See the Press Release below.
